Felwa is about transitions exploring an essential paradox of nature, namely that change is the only constant. The book begins with references to the past exploring our ancient emotional relationship with the world, mythology, and ends with the science-based view we have today. The book contains an analogue photographic record in sections that explore a specific environment, the farmyard in relation to a human life, the grassland in a rewilding process, the stream as a primordial vein, the forest where ancient stories still roam. Integral are the plant dyes and their names that link everything.
