This project highlights the potential 0.32m rise in global sea levels if all glaciers outside Antarctica and Greenland melted, equivalent to 158,000 km³ of ice. The photo series captures the rapid decline of glaciers, especially in the Alps, due to climate change. The images aim to raise awareness about the urgent need for climate action by showcasing the fragile state of these glaciers and the far-reaching environmental impacts of their disappearance. It’s a visual call to recognize and address the consequences of global warming.

Born in Karthaus, a small mountain village build on and around a former monastery in South Tyrol in 1967. Having grown up in this same place I still live there with my husband, a dog and two cats. I have attended the Prager Fotoschule in Linz, Upper Austria from 2013 to 2017 and completed with my diploma work with the highest marking in 2018. Since then I work as a professional photographer and have participated in 3 group exhibitions in Austria and Italy.
