In 2023, while experimenting with frozen objects and colored ice at home, I observed a small amount of ice placed in a silicone mold vanish, leaving behind only paint molecules and the object. After investigating, I learned that this is due to sublimation, where ice turns directly into vapor without melting. Fascinated, I explored how sublimation mirrors evaporation in nature and impacts climate by altering Earth's albedo. This led to creating vanishing ice artworks, capturing their fleeting existence as a commentary on natural processes linked to global climate change.
