One of the most captivating features of the festival is the “Sailing on Land” ritual, also referred to as “the ship sailing on land instead of the sea.” This ritual embodies the concept of the divine ship crossing between sea and land, representing the gods’ inspection of the mortal world and their mission to ward off evil.
