The Animal Whisperer is a biographical portrait of my daughter, shot in a vibrant Moroccan room filled with animals, flora & fauna. The work illustrates the profound impact of aligning one’s consciousness with the rhythmic pulse of nature. The room mirrors her imagination, vibrantly in bloom capturing the spirit of all living things. As her profound relationship with the animals and nature deepens, we witness the unfolding of a soul’s language. This sparks a broader meditation on how our interactions with the natural world can lead to a more unified and harmonious existence.

Laura Antonia Abbott is a British, Fine Art and Conceptual Photographer, with a multi disciplinary artistic background. Laura’s work is rich in symbolism. Surrealist dreamscapes emerge from her visual imagery; influenced by her poetic observations of the world and human encounters. Recurrent themes that frequent her work are the search for female identity, threats to the natural world and mental health. Laura constructs her images primarily on location with rich colours and handmade props created from recycled materials when possible.
