"Sushi Ikebana" is a photographic artwork that reimagines sushi as ikebana (flower arrangement), using sushi ingredients in place of flowers to explore the fleeting nature of food and art. It encourages viewers to reflect on consumer society's temporary value placed on everyday objects and questions the relationship between consumption and beauty. Sushi-related items such as fresh fish, shiso leaves, tea cups, and serving trays were photographed and compiled into a digital collage, urging reflection on the cycle of consumption and promoting mindfulness through eating.
