Lago Sorapis in Dolomites it’s one of those places where you must wake up before dawn to witness a sunrise that sets the mountains ablaze with an orange flame. The lagoon’s water is a miracle itself, a saturated turquoise that shifts with the seasons—drying up in autumn, freezing in winter, but in summer, when the sun is high, the most breathtaking sunrises light up the landscape.
