In these photographs you gain a glimpse into the quirky life of a travelling circus, from preparations backstage, through the show. Circus skills and traditions are passed down from generation to generation, and family life revolves around the circus. Most of the adults have been a part of the show since childhood, having been born on site at the circus.

I am a travel and documentary photographer. I was born in Serbia and completed my studies in Hungary and Finland, gaining a degree in journalism and photography. Having travelled the globe, my continuing passion is to photograph extraordinary people. I visually document their stories, by capturing everyday life whilst delivering an intimate perspective drawing in the outside observer.
