South Taiwan Stands Up Against Air Pollution

Those pictures were taken in Kaohsiung (south of Taiwan) during a demonstration against air pollution. Air pollution is a big issue in the third most populous taiwanese city : the situation is getting worse, time to time the smog makes the emblematic 85 Sky Tower disappear. For days in winter months, the air is classed as « unhealthy ». People do see and do feel how bad the air is, that is why they decided to stand up and act against air pollution.
