Actually, I don't like the cold, snow, winter and snowy mountains. But the knowledge that there will soon be less snow due to global warming and that glaciers and icebergs will continue to melt, gives me a melancholic feeling of farewell.

I learned my photographic craft from the photographer and filmmaker Valentin Schwab. Over the last years I increasingly have abstracted my visual language. In my current work, I use abstract photographs to explore the representation of the subliminal, the ineffable, and the ephemeral.
