The violation of basic individual rights in Algeria has become a major issue that impedes the way to achieving social justice and prosperity . Many activists have been arrested for exercising their right to protest peacefully against a dictatorial regime. The careless and brutal measures taken by the government has devastative ramifications on the Algerian society.
