The catalogue documents X-Ray Archive, a research project which brings together scientific photography and selected objects from University of the Arts Archives and Special Collections. I chose three objects from each of the UAL Archives including the Stanley Kubrick Collection. The project utilises x-ray technology as a starting point generating imagery which both reveals new information about each object’s material content, and repositions its meaning into allusive narratives.There is a strong element to the unknown with x-ray photography and a beauty in bringing inanimate objects to life.
