The sacred and the profane of religious feasts in Sicily are at the center of this work. The book contains two fundamental moments of tradition: one dedicated to the feast of Saint Agatha in Catania and the other to Holy Week. The photographer travels through stages of a map that represent microcosms of unique and specific identity. The images capture faces, situations, places, expressions and emotions that characterize these events known all over the world, with an approach not aimed at showmanship, but the involvement of the photographer in an extraordinary experience.
