I know nothing about architecture. I'm a street photographer. But you can't be in New York without absorbing its architecture. So I started photographing buildings in New York and on vacation. Some I liked. The convoluted exterior of the Pompidou Center. The magnificent colors of the fishermen's houses in Burano. But those were the exceptions. During the pandemic with nothing to do, I began to experiment with different postproduction tools. I began to visualize buildings as elaborate patterns, shapes and colors. Patterns, shapes and colors I understand. This is how I see architecture.
