I was two years old when my dad bought a house by the sea. His passion for fishing brought me and my sisters to that house every weekend. Every month of the year. It didn't matter if it was raining, if it was spring or if it was snowing I spent most of my childhood in that beach house. It was made of wood with a veranda overlooking the river and the sea behind it. Dark and rough in winter. How many moments of melancholy in childhood, especially in winter. How much loneliness I felt... This work reflects part of that melancholy that still caresses my soul today when I go to the seaside in winte
