First, Andreas Eggler looks for expressive, authentic faces. Then he finds the right overlay for each one to accentuate its characteristic features. If he is lucky, a photo from Verpaalu's collection will fit, but usually he first has to find it with his camera. He then matches the face and overlay motif on the screen until they merge into a double exposure.
