This series unveils the preparations for the Bull Jumping Ceremony in Ethiopia. While the ritual itself marks the passage to adulthood, these photographs focus on the anticipatory moments. Young initiates, adorned in intricate ritual makeup, embody the cultural significance of this ceremony. As part of the celebration, the hero figures of the village ceremoniously whip the women from the initiates' families, signifying strength and resilience. Each image encapsulates the rich tapestry of Ethiopian culture, illustrating the symbolic rituals that surround the transition to adulthood.

As a self-taught photographer and avid traveler, I embarked on a mission to utilize my photography to support charitable causes. Joining the board of directors for The Forgotten International in 2019, I sought to leverage my skills to raise funds for those in need. Through the sale of books and prints, I aimed to shed light on the struggles faced by communities in developing countries and contribute to meaningful projects. Through my photography, I strive to inspire others, evoke emotions, and make a positive impact on the world around me.
