It was taken from the glass ceiling of a shopping mall at noon of the New Year's Eve, in Beijing, China. The ceiling was decorated with intwining lights for New Year celebration, which were turned off at day time and on at night. Strong sunlight enabled the ceiling to reflect silhouette of shoppers below and their shadows. With these little lights, the elements formed an abstract artistic image. In my opinion, it also mirrored consumerism struggling in the current economic recession.
