The series Misplacements questions how we as humans interact with natural environment in a sense of placing isolated man-made objects of different forms and functions to a particular landscape in a way that its transformation is not very obvious neither visually destructive. The purpose and meaning of these object is not even clear to a viewer or people who accidently pass by. Moreover, functions of the most photographed objects in this series were already lost and for few it seems this will happen in a near future. With loosing the physical context former placements become misplacements

I am a fine art photographer and university professor based in Maribor (Slovenia). I am creating and exhibiting photographs for more than 25 years. So far, my biography includes around 30 solo exhibitions in different countries, over 60 group exhibitions abroad and in Slovenia, 3 published books and several multimedia performances. In past two decades and half I have won several national photographic society awards and have been nominated as honorable mention photographer in several distinguished world contests.
