In my photographic journey, I have always been captivated by the power of film to interpret the complexities of real life. This fascination drives me to shoot stills to capture moments that resonate with the depth and authenticity of human experiences. "Goodbye Maria," a feature film directed by my friend, Yiru Sun, narrates the tender story of a profound emotional connection between a young boy and his babysitter. This still represents the universal themes of attachment, loss, and the poignant moments that shape our existence, inviting viewers to see their lives mirrored in the frame.
