On the morning of April 3, 2024, Taiwan was struck by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake, the strongest in nearly thirty years. The quake caused widespread devastation, significant casualties, and left many residents homeless. The Twin Star Towers in Hualien City were heavily damaged, becoming a symbol of the disaster. Across Taiwan, there is hope for the full recovery of the victims' bodies, and for the people of Hualien and the entire nation to heal from the pain of this catastrophe. The dedication and efforts of the rescue teams deserve the utmost respect.
