In Khurvaleti on the border with South Ossetia, there is the House of Luda Salia, an Abkhaz nurse who fled Sokhumi in 1993 when Russia invaded the country. Having moved to her mother's house in Khurvaleti, in August 2008 she had to flee again when Russians occupied the village. At the withdrawal of the troops, the lands belonging to his family remained "behind" the barbed wire while the family home remained in Georgian territory, so Luda decided to open the doors of her house to all the elderly people who lost their own or were living alone, that shelter is now a recognized retirement home.

I'm a Photograpy Passionate, I live near Venice and my favourite subjects are People and Stories. I've started shooting in 2020 moving from Landscape to People when I felt in love with Koudelka's work on Gypsies. I always try to enter in connection with the people i photograph, living with them to reach their intimacy.
