This project reflects on the historical, political, and social changes shaping our city (Genoa-Italy, but applicable globally). In search of beauty, I found refuge in the statues, caryatids, atlantes, and putti that surround us—alive and ever-watchful. Through double exposures, I captured their portraits and the world they observe, exploring the tension between past and present. "They have been here long before us. If they could speak, what would they say? What do they think of us?"
