Taken under such extreme conditions from a passing storm. I called this image “ Painted Sky” as It suggests a striking scene where the sky still had remembrances of the passing storm which brought a beautiful new light . With the sun now setting the colours of red, oranges and blues, along with the natural colours of the earth made for what could only be a sky painted by mother nature herself. It’s time like these where I reflect on how fortunate I am to capture such beauty.

John traces his journey back to his formative years in year 12 where he study fine art in Melbourne. It was during this period that he first picked up a camera, igniting a passion that would shape his career. Following high school, John delved into the realm of concert lighting, touring and show design, where he honed his understanding of the profound impact of light and colour.
