The image was captured during a trainera regatta, a type of traditional boat from northern Spain, particularly popular along the coasts of the Basque Country and Cantabria. Originally used for fishing, it now features in sporting competitions that, until recently, were an exclusively male sport. Since childhood, photography has been my way of seeing the world. I played at capturing moments by quickly closing my eyes, creating images in my mind. Over time, this became my passion. I graduated in ICT and Advertising from UPV-EHU and have worked with renowned photographers like Alejandro Cabrera, Michael Wray, and Toni Riera. From 1980 to 1982, I trained in analog photography at the "El Desván" cultural association in Bilbao. For me, photography is a way to express emotions and discover authentic beauty everywhere
