This photo was taken at "Otonrui Wind Power Factory" in Hokkaido, Japan. The wind turbines, approximately 100 meters high, are strung out in a straight line for 3.1 kilometers. Otonglui means “beach road” in the Ainu language. Unfortunately, this group of windmills is scheduled for demolition, and I wanted to preserve this wonderful view of my hometown. It was raining heavily on the day of the photo shoot, but miraculously the sun came out and made for a fantastic photo with a fantastic sky.
