Turin, Italy. 18 May 2024. Students unroll the list of deaths from Gaza invasion to April 2024. Pro-Palestinian peaceful protests referred as “student intifada” have spread in the world's university campuses in response to the Israel's invasion of the Gaza Strip and its war conduct, accused of violating international law and targeting civilians. Protests, including occupations, rallies, demonstrations and campaigns, demand that the universities sever academic ties with Israel, support a ceasefire, and disclose investments. Every one of Gaza's 12 universities has been destroyed.

Marioluca Bariona lived in Turin, Ventimiglia, and Genoa, where he graduated in nursing. As an activist, he uses photography as a medium to raise awareness around social and environmental issues. He prefers a concrete photographic language aimed at revealing a collective, choral reality in which identities merge to show common values, demands, needs.
