This series captures the profound connection between eagle hunters and their majestic birds in the remote region of Bayan-Ölgii, where Kazakh traditions have endured through time and adversity. Each hunter raises and trains their eagle from a young age, forging a bond rooted in mutual respect and loyalty—a testament to the deep relationship between humans and nature in Kazakh culture. The portraits were taken in the Ger of Jenisbek, surrounded by the furs of animals hunted by his eagle, echoing the timeless scenes of 17th-century Dutch masters that have always inspired me.

As a self-taught photographer and avid traveler, I embarked on a mission to utilize my photography to support charitable causes. Joining the board of directors for The Forgotten International in 2019, I sought to leverage my skills to raise funds for those in need. Through the sale of books and prints, I aimed to shed light on the struggles faced by communities in developing countries and contribute to meaningful projects. Through my photography, I strive to inspire others, evoke emotions, and make a positive impact on the world around me.
