The puffed-up girl is an interpretation of the contemporary image of young people, who, through the widespread and easy accessibility of many of the goods of civilisation, find it increasingly difficult to be content with what they have and the world they live in. All kinds of things satisfy her only for a while and the lack of new stimuli causes rebellion.
