In the Khovsgol province of Mongolia, Jargalant Wooden Bridge is 128m long over the Ider River. Jargalant means ‘Happiness’. Built in 1940, this wooden bridge has got deformed and uneven over the years. It looks precarious to drive over it as the drivers and passengers are scared to cross over it. But the venture is worth the reward on the other side.
