Peachey’s series, the dreamers, offers a modern reflection of the seventies. His subjects are whimsical and beautiful… a dark and moody backdrop encapsulates them in a shroud of melancholic nostalgia as we remember the 70’s. The portraits depict subjects that are removed from any stereotype or kitsch but rather offer an accolade of film, fashion and glamour. Peachey’s subjects’ appear un-posed, raw and seemingly unaware of the imposing camera that has captured their beguiling presence.
