"The Beauty & the Crab" is a photographic expression that covers more than two years of Dorothée's life, a danser who has a breast cancer. This photographs show the relationship Dorothée has with her own body. It also shows her ordeals, her times of sorrow, her doubts and her questionings facing this serious illness. A project being built together, without voyeurism or intention of wounding. An authentic account of life of this struggle, of these moments we all know in one way or another, often in silence and isolation.
