Somewhere in North-East Taiga in Mongolia, I was on my haunches, totally engrossed in shooting the grazing reindeer in the valley with my DSLR. Suddenly, there was the unmistakable sound of hooves behind me. I turned around, and saw a Tsaatan boy riding his domesticated reindeer along with another one tethered to his ride. Instinct kicked in and I managed to freeze and capture the frame just in time.
