Using a Micro-CT, a machine that takes X-rays of small objects, this image of a Canon 24mm f2.8 pancake lens shows the electronics with a dark center circle of glass. The glass is the most dense material in the image, making it block the X-rays from the sensor. Taken at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
